I’m currently seeking beta readers for a science fiction cyberpunk mystery novella that I’ve written. The manuscript is a long novella, coming in at about 43,000 words.

In the depths of an ocean world in a far-off star system, beneath the tunnels and domes of a city that time forgot, survival is all anyone can hope for, but hope can be a dangerous thing.

For Leon Chandra, a fixer with a knack for impossible jobs, Ceylon is a prison he can’t escape. Haunted by his father’s death and the gnawing certainty of a sealed fate, Leon drifts from one job to the next, surviving on ingenuity and regret.

When a defiant young girl hires him to find her missing sister—a dancer who may have escaped Ceylon altogether—Leon sees a chance to break free from the city’s suffocating grasp. But as he unravels the mystery, he’s drawn into a deadly web of gangsters, corporate enforcers, and a truth that forces him to confront the ghosts of his past.

In Ceylon City, the deeper you go, the darker it gets. And sometimes, the hardest thing to escape is yourself.
